Samsung Auto: The Android Auto Alternative Exclusive to Galaxy Phones in China
Samsung has developed a new in-car experience called Samsung Auto, an exclusive Android Auto alternative for Galaxy phones sold in China. First spotted by Reddit user u/Proshis_Saha_Swopna, Samsung Auto offers a dashboard UI similar to Android Auto and CarPlay, complete with navigation, music, and widget control.
It supports Baidu CarLife+ and ICCOA CarLink for wired and wireless connections, and includes advanced features like quick navigation, which pulls address data from messages and allows users to start navigation instantly. However, the platform is deeply tied to Chinese apps and cars sold in China, making a global release very unlikely.
